L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
(I said) L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
Good and tight
I hit a lonely space
So I checked a little down place on the avenue
I did a zoom across a very crowded room
and I spotted you (babe)
Right then and there that little stare
Gave me the feelin’
And it’s here to stay
All the smoothest honeys of the world
Couldn’t tear me away
L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
(I said) L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
Good and tight
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
(I said) L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
Good and tight
I hit a lonely space

Right then and there that little stare

And it’s here to stay
All the smoothest honeys of the world
Couldn’t tear me away
L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
(I said) L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
Good and tight
We did our maiden dance and we fell into the trance
Pf a funky tune
I had a dream about a hot and heavy scene
Strarring me and you (babe)
The music cooked and we both looked with only fire
Burnin’ in your eyes
And the thrill of having you so near took me
To paradise
L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
(I said) L.O.V.E. got a hold of me
It was late last night and it’s good and tight
Good and tight
